A Hanseatic evening in Bergen

With actors and musicians from Bergen Byspill:

This is a traditional Hanseatic feast where the guests are brought back to the medieval life on Bryggen in Bergen. Bryggen is one of Bergen's and Norway's main attractions. Bryggen was built after the great fire in 1702 and is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Not only do the guests get a traditional meal in fantastic surroundings, they do also get into the real life of a Hanseatic worker. The actors and musicians bring the audience through different scenes between the meals. In the end they meet the thrilling girls of joy and pleasure that used to have their business right behind the Hanseatic quarter. With song and dance they end the evening. This medieval event gives the guests a unique chance to feel what life in Bergen on Bryggen was like. The text can be performed in English.
